Rebecca Waterman

Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Rebecca Waterman, CNP, is passionate about helping others eat well, grounded in her belief that food has the power to heal and transform. As a Holistic Nutritionist, she focuses on supporting individuals whose goals are centered on realigning hormonal health, managing stress, and improving digestive health. She is thrilled to join the Opal Wellness team.

Rebecca’s own health journey began with burnout, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances while juggling multiple jobs, attending school, and facing complex personal challenges—life in all its forms. Experiencing burnout led her to realize she needed to take control of her health by healing her relationship with food and her body. As her healing journey progressed, she threw herself into nonprofit work, eventually facing burnout again as she hadn’t yet embraced a whole-person approach for herself. Knowing she needed a change, Rebecca decided to formalize her experience in holistic health and nutrition by studying at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. This education provided her with tools to more effectively serve her community's well-being.

As a member of the 2LGBTQIA+ community and with extensive experience in non-profit spaces focused on food security, sovereignty, and wellness, Rebecca knew her practice needed to be inclusive, trauma-informed, and sensitive to the diverse wellness intersections individuals face, particularly within marginalized communities. She brings over a decade of experience in the health and wellness industry, including recipe creation, menu design, job skills training programs, and skin health consultations.

Rebecca’s journey to improved health, though challenging, has shaped the compassion she brings to every client relationship. She firmly believes that the path to healing requires a whole-person approach, seeing individuals beyond their diet to make personalized recommendations that fit their lifestyles. Together, Rebecca and her clients create tailored protocols, engaging in learning that honors each person's unique health journey. With empathy and a deep respect for each client’s innate power to transform, she looks forward to walking alongside them on their path to greater ease.
